Ghana’s celebrated actress who is now making waves in the fashion and design industry, Pascaline Edwards has organized charity sales as part of her Corporate Social Responsibility to help the marginalized in society.
The Charity Sales dubbed “Prêt à Porter”, to wit “Ready to wear” is a brand which is 60 per cent discounted on all purchases to support persons living in deplorable state.
Organized at the Department of Parks and Gardens in Accra last Saturday, the event brought together fans from the length and breadth of the nation to support the worthy cause of the Fashion Designer who wants to impact society with an act of benevolence.
Charity Sales was in commemoration of Pascaline Edwards’ birthday which fell on February 28, but she decided to make the celebration an extraordinary one to give a renewed hope to individuals who were in need.
In an interview with The Spectator the award-winning actress, she said it was important for all to positively impact society, adding that the proceeds from the Charity Sales would be used to support the downtrodden.
Pascaline Edwards expressed thanks to all who supported, donated and patronized her designs and called on Ghanaians to patronize her services at very good and affordable rates.
She appealed to the privileged in society to emulate such gestures in various forms to help put smiles on the faces of the needy.
