This is a story about Rakia ,22 , who lives in Nima with her mother and father in a compound house. She is a brilliant uni student and a favourite of her father who has turned down many suitors so she can achieve a dream of becoming one of the few eminent persons coming out of Nima .
How ever when Alhaji Bala,a wealthy business man makes him a worthy proposal for Rakia ’s hand in marriage,he accepts it and cautions his daughter against breaking that engagement. Rakia gets pregnant by the son of her mother’s employer who rejects it .For fear of being kicked out of the house,her mother who finds out decides to keep it a secret but gets caught out by her rival in the house.
